DIGITAL ARTS AND DESIGN
AGES 13 - 17
Images have been the driving success behind traditional social media, and these social interactive channels help build a sense of community across cultures, language, gender, and age. In this camp, students will learn the art of visual messaging by creating a variety of digital projects that explore motion graphics, photography, logos and more. They will take a deep dive into the Adobe Creative Suite, the leading industry standard for Digital Art and Design. They will explore methods and techniques of computer graphics and strengthen their communication skills by asking questions, expressing opinions, constructing narratives, and designing for an audience. Each day, students will bring to life a communicative experience that may include any combination of text, images, audio, video, animation, and interactive elements. They will work individually and collaboratively to produce compelling, emotionally engaging, and purpose-driven projects.
