Music Production is the process of creating, manipulating and refining music to be shared. In this one-day camp, students will practice the fundamentals of music production with Ableton Live 11, a mainstream software used by award-winning artists in the music industry today. They will experiment with multi-genre beat construction using audio samples, loops, and virtual instruments, incorporating a variety of mixing effects. Students will apply music theory principles to ensure the layering of sounds creates their desired effect. They will prepare, record, and export songs that effectively communicate a mood or story of their own design.
