SILENT FILM

Production

SKILL LEVEL : BEGINNER - INTERMEDIATE

NOVEMBER 22nd, Mon.

9:00AM - 5:00PM | Ages 7-12

Silent Films are a precursor to modern day cinema and they still matter because they established a film language that has evolved over time. In this workshop, students will work collaboratively and explore all three stages of film production to produce a silent short narrative film. Students will develop their story in pre-production storyboarding, scripting, and creating a shot list for their film. After, students will begin the production process and each group will direct and shoot their film. Students will finalize with post production and take their group's footage to edit a first cut of their silent film!
