AGES 7 - 12
STEAM education gains more national and worldwide attention each year. We are preparing children for a world that doesn’t exist yet and for technologies that have not been invented. In this camp, students will create projects in the fields of architecture, game design, robotics, and programming. Students will work individually and in small groups to create a variety of tech-driven projects, such as an arcade-style video game, electronic circuit boards, and customized programmable robots. Science, technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics are integrated into each project and activity designed for kids to observe, ask questions, text, collect data, and draw conclusions. This camp will develop each child’s critical thinking, creative design skills, and boost confidence through experimentation and exploration.
OBJECTIVES (Camp Highlights)
Implement the Engineering Design Process
Use logical programming to create working machines inside Swift Playgrounds
Program functions and variables to establish balanced gameplay in an arcade-style video game
Run circuits boards to connect everyday objects to computer programs
Identify the sequence of communication between the robot and the programmer
Students will learn to implement the Engineering Design Process to build and create tech-based projects.

Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
FREE early drop-off starting at 8:00 a.m., and late pick-up available until 6:00 p.m.
