ROBLOX STUDIO BUILDER

AGES 7 - 12

CAMP DESCRIPTION

Roblox is a hugely popular game creation platform where imagination, creativity and collaboration are at the forefront. Millions of users design their own games and play a wide variety of games on the platform every day, making it a perfect environment for experimentation and discovery. In this camp, students will use Roblox’s built-in editor to practice and hone game design and development skills, including world building, level design, game mechanics, gameplay balance, and digital asset management. They will work individually to design, plan, and build a variety of game levels complete with obstacles, rules, programmed behaviors, and rewards that their peers will be able to game test and critique. At the end of camp, students will have several playable games with multiple levels that they can choose to play on their own or publish online for the world to play.
