About the Course
Game Art shapes the look, feel and personality of every video game. In this camp, students will begin by exploring how game art has evolved over the years, discovering how elements like shape, color, texture, and composition influence the style and atmosphere of a game. Using beginner-friendly tools such as Piskel to create 2D pixel art and sprite animation and Tinkercad for 3D modeling, students will design characters, props, items, and simple environments inspired for real game worlds. Each day builds new artistic and technical skills, and by the end of the week, campers will have a fun collection of original game-ready assets—all created by them and ready to inspire their own game worlds.
