3D Art

June 15–19 | July 20–24

CAMP DESCRIPTION

3D Art is created for a variety of mediums ranging from movies and video games to websites and advertisements. It’s no surprise the demand for talented entertainment and media artists is on the rise. In this virtual camp, students will explore 3D mediums, from modeling, rigging, and animating, as they work to complete a variety of digital projects. Utilizing Autodesk Maya, an 3D software used in the creation of Oscar-winning movies, students will analyze character construction and movement, practice professional workflows, and create customized animation that can effectively communicate an idea to an audience. They will apply the principles of animation and learn software concepts such as keyframes, viewports, and playblast. 3D Art is a complex topic that can take months or years to learn, and this is the perfect first step into becoming a 3D artist!
