CAMP DESCRIPTION

3D Art is created for a variety of mediums ranging from movies and video games to websites and advertisements. It’s no surprise the demand for talented entertainment and media artists is on the rise. In this virtual camp, students will explore 3D mediums, from modeling, rigging, and animating, as they work to complete a variety of digital projects.

Camp Highlights
 

  • Pan, zoom, rotate and maneuver in Maya's 3D Environment

  • Collapse, extrude, multi-cut, and transform polygons to build 3D Models

  • Apply the 12 Principles of Animation to objects, scenarios, and characters

  • Use Maya's time slider and channel box to control playback range, keyframes, and attribute values

  • Group, parent, and constrain objects to create a functioning 3D rig
