Esports is organized, competitive video gaming that builds valuable life skills such as teamwork, communication, strategic thinking, leadership, and resilience. In this workshop, students will explore how to improve their individual and team performance while gaining a big-picture understanding of the esports ecosystem, from players and teams to coaches, tournaments, and careers. Through guided gameplay, performance analysis, and group challenges, students will learn how collaboration, mindset, and healthy habits like proper posture and screen balance directly impact success in competition and beyond.

Learning Objectives
Practice core performance skills such as communication, strategy, decision-making, and adaptability to improve individual and team gameplay Identify key components of the esports ecosystem, such as team roles, coaching, event structure, and career pathways within the industry Implement techniques to improve teamwork, sportsmanship, and player effectiveness

Ethan
Ethan is a Full Sail University film graduate and educator with experience across film production, video creation, photography, gaming, and esports. His multidisciplinary background allows him to introduce students to a wide range of creative media while making technical concepts accessible and engaging. He fosters an exploratory learning environment where creators can experiment, collaborate, and find their artistic voice through practical, project-based experiences.
